Describe your personal style: Simple with a twist and the belief that perfection is an ugly word. I love McQueen! I love dressing up and in high heels, I feel like I can take over the world.
Who’s the sexiest person that ever lived? Still superhuman!

When are you the happiest? When my expectations are exceeded and all kinds of other random moments.

Where do you live? East Village Village, New York
What do you do? I live adventures; I research new media, life and myself. I’m about to start a children’s writing and illustration course. I phone home. I daydream. I explore, I hide, I run, I dance. I hang out on my rooftop. I tend to my plants. I yoga.
What are you working on now? Being happy. Researching entertainment and media. Living in the now. Loving.
Favorite song: I have no idea. I am completely fickle when it comes to favorite songs
Favorite artist: Henri Matisse and Ron Muick. And the cellist I saw on stage at an NYU ballet performance
Favorite food? Truffle egg toast. Freeman’s artichoke dip. And peanut butter Lindt Balls. And a whole lot of other things.
Describe your personal style. Runway dreamer meets reality. Nostalgic. Wistfully quirky. Hippie want to be some days. Mostly casual but love dressing up. Marc Jacobs and Chloe if I could. Depends on my mood.
Who’s the sexiest person that ever lived? The man I call the love of my life…
Where do you see yourself in ten years? Somewhere in the world with the people I care about, my family, a husband, children, a wheaten terrier, sunshine and lots of food. Or changing the world somehow. Haven’t quite decided.
When are you the happiest? Discovering a new city. Falling in love. Arriving back in South Africa. First day of spring in New York. Watching the sunset in the bush. Walking the streets of the East Village on a perfect late Saturday morning on the way to brunch. Perfecting that headstand.
What’s your hidden talent? Snake charmer.

Where do you live? Paris, in a tiny attic room on the 6th floor of a typical parisian building, but what makes it fabulous is that out my equally tiny window I can see the Eiffel Tower sparkling at night!
What do you do? Nothing…at the moment… or rather nothing constructive, I experience French life, the way it is supposed to be, I drink coffee and relax in cafes, I then shop, go to museums and explore the city, living, drowning and learning
What are you working on now? Myself- all aspects, everything -my word, what a task!
Favorite song: I never know the names of the songs I like! (sorry)
Favorite artist: Believe it or not sisters, I have developed faourites: Monet
Favorite food? Wors Rolls (I hate to admit this but I do, I love them), nougat ice cream, my French discovered muslie, Seafood pasta, Colcacchios Parma Pizza and a “bleu fillet” and of course deliciciously rich chocolate!
Describe your personal style: Chicly simple! I like to save my feet from boredom in a pair of fabulous killer heels!

Where do you live? Out of a backpack – currently travelling for 6 months
What do you do? I am travelling parts of this amazing world and discovering new things about it and myself. I am falling in love with Argentina. I am spending more time straight with my husband than I ever imagined.
What are you working on now? Being happy. Not thinking about what’s going to happen when we get home in December. Working out how to be a chef
Favorite song: Ummm … maybe Diamonds on the soles of her shoes by Paul Simon – reminds me of Africa and our parents also Accidentally in Love (Counting Crows) for happy memories from my wedding day

I LOVE FOOD … Mom’s roast chicken tops the list though also mangoes and litchis in the bush, biltong, ice cream in Buenos Aires, excellent quality chocolate, avocado, tomatoes, basil, butter, potatoes, anchovies, margeritas and champagne (is this food?), porridge, herbal tea, Marmite and toast … somebody stop me!
Describe your personal style. My sisters would say ‘fanus’ but I like to think classic

Where do you see yourself in ten years? Being a mom and wife in a sunny place cooking lots of yummy food for friends and family
When are you the happiest? When I’m not thinking about it and Sunday lunches at home
What’s your hidden talent? Very supple, good at languages (trying my best at Spanish right now) and making people laugh by being silly

What do you do? I live adventures; I go to grad school and learn about German philosophers, sustainability, life and myself. I’m about to start interning at the UN. I phone home. I daydream. I explore, I hide, I run, I dance. I hang out on my fire escape.
What are you working on now? Being happy. Writing my thesis about media, society and globalization. Looking for a job. Living in the now.
Favorite song: I hate choosing favorites. This week, it’s “Classical Symphony, Op. 25: I. Allegro con brio” by English Chamber Orchestra & Johannes Somary and “My List” by The Killers. “Here She Comes” by B. Fleischmann. Tomorrow, it will change.

Love. For sure. Independence without love is lonely. But love without independence is not true… So I will try and mix them together.

    Ok Hugs. Your food list just made my mouth water. I think I had better expand on mine. So I add: litchis and mangoes (prefrebaly picked myself) in the summer; goats cheese gnudi from Spotted Pig; sushi salad from Willoughby, avocado on toast; freshly ground black pepper on everything; parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, rocket and tomato on pumkinseed bread from Newport Deli; frozen cappacinos from Bar Italia… Oh, and Mexican breakfast at the farm after an early morning drives; chilli bite biltong on road trips and dad’s lamb shanks… ok. That’s better. Yummo.
